All hail this Asian talented designer who has posted big success and was mentioned as one of the Best of British labels that showcased at the Café in Hotel Mulia Senayan, 31st of March 2010.

Not only flaunting Ashley Isham's ability in draping technique, each of the evening dresses tagged under his name also bear the luxury by blinging the richness of jewel-toned jerseys. Not to mention the jersey fabrics he used are totally different from ordinary jersey people usually wear. Softer, more lustrous, and in conclusion: tres riche.  Asking to describe his designs in one word, Ashely Isham wants people to recognize his signature of gorgeous draping associated with the word “sensual”.

“Every woman is beautiful, as long as their comfortable in their own skin, their beauty from both within and outer beauty will shine through. Therefore I was motivated in creating gowns to accentuate their beautifulness and sensuality” Isham explained during meet and greet.

This London based Singaporean-born designer pushed barriers between the Eastern and Western culture, with hard work and 110% determination, he made people fall in love with his ravishing creations. Inspired by his South Asian heritage, Ashley Isham incorporates motifs and Eastern influences such as strong tailoring and Balinese Art in his designs.

In 2003, Ashley Isham had the honor to design Princess Zara Philips of the British royal family dress for the Royal Ascot races and gained international attention. Since then, Ashley Isham collections have not been absent from London Fashion Week. In 2004, Ashley Isham was appointed as the official designer for the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) awards, where big Hollywood stars like Angelina Jolie and Kiera Knightley wore his goddess-like gowns.

Specializing in attention grabbing-couture dresses and sexy yet alluring and ethereal frocks, Ashley Isham’s collections seem to be made for the red carpet. All things glamour, contemporary, and classic are evident in his unique designs. No wonder celebrities such as Kylie Minogue, Christina Aguilera, Florence Welch and even Lady Gaga are big fans of this self-confessed master of drapery.
